The launch of the NBSOIL Academy will be a perfect opportunity to meet other soil enthusiasts and learn more about the content of the Academy and other practical details about the course development. The session will also be a great opportunity to discuss the pivotal role of soil advisors in increasing soil health in Europe and the role of NBSOIL and the Soil Mission in that. The session, organised by our partner Soil Association, will be held online via Zoom and will feature speakers from other partner organisations involved in the academy development: CNA, ITAP, and IUNG – project coordinators. The NBSOIL Academy presents a hybrid training prototype for seasoned soil advisors and those aspiring to join the field. Through this programme, attendees will interact with specialists in soil health and nature-based solutions, visit demonstration sites, access advisory services, and collaborate with other projects under the Soil Mission umbrella across the EU and affiliated nations. The aim is to fortify participants’ expertise and competencies, enabling them to offer nature-centric guidance on soil matters spanning various land use sectors.
