Oxford Real Farming Conference (ORFC) 2025

9 - 10 January 2025

The Oxford Real Farming Conference (ORFC) brings the real food and farming movement together every January. ORFC attracts farmers, growers, activists, policymakers and researchers from around the world who are interested in transforming our food system, in an alternative farming conference.

This year’s hybrid conference will run from Thursday, 9th January through Friday 10th January, with in-person registration opening on the evening of Wednesday, 8th January.

The ORFC 2025 line-up will include 150 sessions in-person and 45+ sessions livestreamed from Oxford, with speakers from the UK and around the world addressing crucial issues and thought-provoking topics such as:

  • Farming today for the climate of tomorrow
  • New pathways towards land justice
  • Practical take-homes on: living mulches, tree fodder, nitrogen-fixing straw
  • Traditional ecological knowledge and land-based wisdom
  • Building a fossil-free food system
  • Livestock grazing for biodiversity
  • Healthy organic and biodynamic soils

ORFC will be welcoming our global community to Oxford both in person and via online livestream. To streamline the delegate experience, we will be broadcasting the livestreamed sessions via YouTube.

An online ticket will give you access to 45+ sessions livestreamed from Oxford. An in-person ticket will give you access to all the sessions in Oxford (150+) including all the livestreamed sessions so that you can catch up on anything you missed after leaving the in-person conference.
