Resources For Soil Advisors Interactive Map

The NBSOIL interactive map helps soil advisors locate resources in five categories: Training and Education, Tools and Apps, Documents and Media, Peer Networks, and Social Media. It allows filtering by category, access format (on-site, online, hybrid), and cost (free, paid, or free basic access with paid options). Built on GoGoCarto, it supports open contributions and is regularly curated.

The map of knowledge resources for soil advisors collects and locates existing resources in five categories.

  • Training and Education: initial and continuing training opportunities offered by various organisations.
  • Documents and Media: written, audio, or video materials such as guides, reports, podcasts, or webinars.
  • Tools and Apps: digital or physical tools designed to support soil management and advisory work.
  • Peer Networks: platforms or initiatives that connect soil advisors and facilitate knowledge exchange.
  • Social Media: social media accounts or channels that regularly share soil-related content or events.

The map below can be filtered according to access format (on-site, online, hybrid), and cost (free, paid, or free basic access with paid options). Each entry includes the resource name followed by a brief description as well as information on the provider (organization providing the resource, editor or author), access cost, format, available language, and a link to the page.

Explore the map below! This resource has been developed using the GoGoCarto platform. The platform is free and open source. Entries can be added at https://nbsoil.gogocarto.fr/map The NBSOIL Project partner FiBL will regularly curate additional entries for the duration of the project.
