The NBSOIL Marketplace was consolidated in 2024, one year after its launch. It is a collaborative space hosted on the Triple Performance platform. Designed to share knowledge about soil restoration, it is aimed at farmers, soil specialists, consultants and policy makers, and guides users through the various stages of soil restoration projects, from consideration to implementation.

NBSOIL Academy Updates

As part of our work at the NBSOIL Academy, we are exploring nature-based solutions (NBS) across Europe using the IUCN Global Standard for Nature-based Solutions self-assessment tool. To get as wide a representation of the continent as possible, we’d like to invite you to help us!

  • What is it? This is an online tool to self-assess new nature-based solutions design; upscale pilots by identifying gaps and; verify past projects and future proposals.
  • Why engage?
This will allow your project to be represented in our work; and it is also a unique opportunity to get customised help from IUCN team members to understand and complete the assessment!
  • How to engage?
Join our NBSOIL Academy and go to the level 3 course from Module 1 about Soil Health and NBS. There we explain what the tool is and how to use it; and allow you to do an assessment yourself and upload it.
  • Until when?
We will be receiving submissions until 28 February 2025.
