NBSOIL Academy enrolment is open!

Attention, please! You can now enrol in the NBSOIL Academy. This two-year program is designed to teach you all about nature-based solutions for soil management.
What will you learn? The NBSOIL Academy offers both theory and practical skills in sustainable soil practices. With four modules and a final project, you’ll gain valuable knowledge to make a difference. The modules will be gradually released from June 2024 until May 2025. Don’t miss out on this opportunity.

Partners meeting in Warsaw to prepare the launch of the NBSOIL Academy

NBSOIL Project partners met at ILOT facilities in Warsaw to prep for the Soil Academy launch and explore innovative agricultural practices at the Wilanów-Obory Agricultural Experimental Station. They learned about soil health management techniques, crop rotation strategies, and advanced machinery like the no-tillage machine. The meeting fostered co-creation and ideas sharing, with 30 partners attending in person and others contributing online.

EU CAP Network Seminar in Vienna
NBSOIL attended the EU CAP Network Seminar on ‘Skills and lifelong learning for agricultural advisory and training service providers’ in Vienna on 21-22 February. Heinz Gattringer, Senior Developer at alchemia-nova, represented the project as consortium parner. He participated in discussions on strategies for reaching and serving soil advisors and farmers.

Microorganisms, plants, or their enzymes can be harnessed for this purpose.The NBSOIL Project will spotlight bioremediation as a nature-based solution for brownfield redevelopment, addressing the lack of management on many contaminated sites.
