The NBSOIL Academy was launched on World Environment Day

The NBSOIL Academy was launched on World Environment Day with a webinar organized by our partner Soil Association. Over 100 participants join from around to world to celebrate the Academy launch. The Academy offers comprehensive, free training for current and aspiring soil advisors across Europe, featuring online sessions, practical workshops and a final project.

The Academy is a training prototype that aims to empower the next generation of soil advisors to deploy nature-based solutions effectively. Learn more about this pioneering educational tool and enroll in the Academy.

Join our NBSOIL Academy enthusiasts and complete the first level of Module 1

Some participants of the NBSOIL Academy have already completed Level 1 of Module 1, which focuses on how to regenerate soils in Europe through the implementation of nature-based solutions (NBS).
By the end of that level, you’ll be able to define soil health and explain the importance of soil health; give soil advice in any context and conduct soil diagnoses; list the NBS available among the NBSOIL portfolio; provide advice on the adequate NBS to implement; and help advisors make assured soil management decisions.

Discover the ecological dynamics of water enrichment: Eutrophication. Eutrophication is the process by which a water body becomes enriched with dissolved nutrients, primarily nitrogen and phosphorus. While it can occur naturally, it is often the result of pollution. Eutrophication may lead to algal blooms, which can deplete oxygen in the water and harm aquatic life.
