The NBSOIL Project is pleased to announce that it has joined the organising team of the Soils for Europe Conference, which will take place from 7 to 11 September 2026 in Coimbra, Portugal.
Led by the SOLO project, this event will be co-organised by several Mission Soil projects, including CURIOSOIL, SOIL TRIBES, SPADES or BENCHMARKS. The conference will feature sessions on Soil Mission objectives, with a strong focus on Soil Health Living Labs and opportunities for interaction among participants. Living Labs and opportunities for interaction among them.
The SOLO Project aims to identify current knowledge gaps, drivers, bottlenecks, and novel research and innovation approaches to be considered in the European Soil Mission research and innovation roadmap.
The conference will provide an ideal platform not only to showcase innovations developed by various European-funded projects, but also to bring together researchers and practitioners, fostering collaboration and highlighting the most promising initiatives in the European soil research community. For NBSOIL, in particular, the event will offer a timely opportunity to present its results, as it takes place in the final months of the project, shortly before its conclusion in November 2026.
More information will be available soon on the conference page.
